Josh was on Samantha duty at the store, so he got to wait with her in the bathroom while she handled her after lunch business. Never one for uncomfortable silences, she filled the time in trademark Samantha style.
It started with a story – a long, rambling story filled with rainbows and unicorns. As she finished up (the story, not her business), she asked, “Was that a good job, Daddy?” (Referring, of course, to her story, not her business.)
Daddy responded, “Yes, Samantha, it was.”
Samantha cheerfully volunteered, “Daddy, when someone does a good job, I like to say, ‘Good job. that was a really good job.’ But when someone does a bad job, I say, ‘Well, that was … pretty good.'”
